Man what a great Sunday we had at Church with ALL OF YOU BACK! I can’t tell you how excited I am for this school year! I believe this will be one of the greatest years in our ministry! I just wanted to take a minute and tell you all what an honor it is to serve as your youth pastor! I love all of you and would do anything I can for any of you!
I wanted to give you all a couple verses real quick:
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
In this school year there are going to be times where it is so crazy you don’t know if you are going to make it… I want you to remember these verses! Always remember in every situation in the Bible, the LORD always comes out with the victory!
When Jesus was lead to the Cross, and crucified, everyone was heartbroken. They thought their Savior was going to rise up and destroy the competition. Instead He wound up beaten and broken, left for dead, wrapped in a tomb. You can imagine how upset everyone must have been. In their eyes, Christianity was OVER!
Yet Christ had the victory. He overcame and ROSE again!
When you begin to think that you can’t make it, always remember Christ is the one with the victory! If you stay faithful to Him, you will rejoice in that victory!

I know you guys are getting ready to start school, and I wanted to tell you something… I BELIEVE IN YOU!!! All of you have no idea how much potential you have spiritually! You have got to believe you can make it.
You need to go into this school year with the thought that you are going to have the greatest school year you have ever had spiritually. You need to BELIEVE IT! All of you can if you follow these three F’s:
FAITHFULNESS! In Matthew 4 when Jesus was tempted in the wilderness He was offered everything by satan and Jesus said He didn’t want everything, He just wanted to be faithful.
Listen, you can have one of the greatest school years you could ever have, but you must be FAITHFUL! When the world throws everything at you, drinking, partying, smoking, wrong friends, you have GOT TO TURN IT DOWN because you desire FAITHFULNESS! You know what is going to be thrown at you, but if you stay faithful, you are going to have one of the greatest school years you can spiritually! Next “F”?
FELLOWSHIP! You have got to surround yourself with the right friends! If you want to stay faithful, you have got to get around faithful people! YOU MUST FELLOWSHIP with the right people. Getting around the wrong friends is the best thing you can do FAIL spiritually. Going into this school year, you need to evaluate the friends you want to keep, and the friends you NEED to drop. You want to have the best school year spiritually? Find the right FELLOWSHIP! Final “F”?
FRUITFULNESS! Make a difference spiritually. You need to start telling people about your CHANGED life immediately! Invite people to come to church Wednesday night and Sunday morning. Do all that you can to be fruitful!
